報(bào)告人簡介：

    Prof. Jeremy Harvey received his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Heinz G. Viehe in 1995 from UC Louvain, Belgium. Then, he worked as a postdoc in Prof. Helmut Schwarz’ group in TU Berlin during 1995-1997 and in Prof. R. Benny Gerber’s group in Hebrew University of Jerusalem during 1997-1998. In 1999, he joined School of Chemistry at the University of Bristol as a lecture and was promoted to a full professor in 2008. Since Oct 2014, he has been a professor of quantum chemistry at KU Leuven. He has published over 200 papers in international journals, including Science, Nature, Chem. Soc. Rev., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and J. Am. Chem. Soc. Among the awards and honors He received, he won Corday-Morgan Medal and Prize from Royal Society of Chemistry (2007), Dirac Medal from World Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists (2009), Wolfson Merit award from Royal Society of London (2014).
