報告人簡介：

Prof. Tingyue Gu obtained his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 1985. He earned a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in 1990. He worked for Miller Brewing Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for one year before joining Ohio University in 1992, where he is currently a full professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. He is also a lecture professor at Nankai University and “111 Plan” honorary professor at University of Science and Technology Beijing. He is an associate editor of Bioresources and Bioprocessing. He is an editorial board member of Separation and Purification Technology, Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering. He has served as a reviewer for agencies such as US NSF, US DOE, US DOT, China 863 Project and NSFC and many others. His research areas include bioseparations, bioelectrochemistry, biofilms, biocorrosion and environmental microbiology.
