Prof Lauis currently a Chair Professor of Chemistry at the City University of Hong Kong. He received his BSc and PhD from the University of Hong Kong. He has done postdoctoral research work at Stanford University and the University of Houston, USA. His current research interests and specialism include inorganic synthesis, kinetics and mechanisms of inorganic redox reactions, metal oxo and nitrido chemistry, water splitting reactions. Up to now, he has published more than 140 papers on international journals including Acc. Chem. Res., JACS, and Angew. Chem.. He also has several patents.
In addition, Prof. Lau will also introduce PhD studies at the City University of Hong Kong.
